ALSTOM Repair Services division is fully equipped and qualified to undertake repair, upgrading and redesigning of the complete spectrum of high and low voltage AC, DC and Locomotive Traction Motors to original specifications and performance at affordable costs.

We offer a 24 hour, 7 days a week emergency service, can accommodate electric motors to a mass of 20 tons and we have in Group facilities to accommodate motors to the mass of 80 tons, should the need arise.

ALSTOM Repair Services Division, offers the complete Scope of Work from stripping, cleaning, rebuilding, rewinding, site installation and testing to its customers needs. Apart from the standard mechanical and electrical repairs we can implement modifications such as shaft and frame modifications, change of motor speeds (number of poles), change of voltage, increase of motor output (KW) and cooler improvements.
