ALSTOM Repair Services has the ability to design, build or refurbish AC power generators from 25 to 75 MW range.

Internationally acclaimed expertise and technology is readily available to allow us to manufacture and design generator coils of world standards. Coils are manufactured to OEM standards, using Class "F" resin impregnated Epoxy Mica tapes and are pressed in our modern equipment to a maximum coil length of 7,2 m. All production processes meet the ISO9002 quality procedures and are undertaken in a fully pressurised, dust free environment.

Successful contracts concluded for the manufacture of roebel bars for Power Generators include Sasol Chemical Industries, Moropule Power Station in Botswana, Pretoria West Power Station, Kariba Hydro Power Station and Hang Jung South Korea.

Repair Services has the ability to upgrade and refurbish old generators to meet the latest technology.
